...the monster ones for the win :D ...

these are drawings of the final monster that i developed a little, I like the simple design I left out the eyes because they werent needed, I gave them arms and legs so i could stratch and distort the shapes, thought that would be kinda fun :D

These were some of my slightly beter ideas which developed into many slightly different versions of my final design. :D I changed the body shape a little because I found it took a while to find a figure that worked well for a mother figure.

These are the early designs of my mother, I wasnt happy with alot of them but from doing these designs I reached one that I liked and I have stuck with. :D I found with alot of the designs I was drawing her as tooo young and she looked like a babysitter instead of a mother so I changed her hair and clothes.

These are initial designs for my boy character, needs more development :D but ita a good start i suppose...

...monsters...

this is my other animatic.... theres a young boy who has night terrors and hes not sleeping his mum tries to help him by getting a night light but this creates more monsters because of the shapes that are created by the light, he tries sleeping again and this time his mum gives him a comic book about a super hero who can defeat monsters, he hold the comic desperatly hoping this will stop the monster from trying to get him, at first he seems to be getting attacked again in his dreams but then the hero appears and helps him to fight them off. and thats the basic story i created, i may change it a little well have to see how it develops i guesss :D oh and therefore if you didnt guess this is the story that i have decided to continue with.....i like both of these stories but this one just seems more fun to design for....think ill give the other one a go in the summer maybe.

This was the first idea that I had and I was stuck on 2 ideas so decided I was going to storyboard the both and make a short rough animatic....this idea is about a girl that loves a boy and she trys everything she can to get him to notice her :D this is pretty cute story.
